XLR8 Wales Driving Instructor Training
XLR8 Wales Driving Instructor Training provides support and training for both Potential Driving Instructors and CPD Training for Approved Driving Instructors
To become a driving instructor, you will need to be over 21 and have held your full driving license for at least 3 years and have less than 6 points on your license. You must also be able to clear an Enhanced CRB check (Now DBS check).
Becoming an approved driving instructor involves passing 3 elements which include:
Part 1 - Theory Test
Part 2 - Practical Driving Test
Part 3 - Instructional Ability Test/Standards Check
XLR8 Wales Driving Instructor Training will provide you with all the necessary training for all 3 elements and in addition, you can access local buddy training with an ADI to help you private practice outside of your dedicated training time.
Part 1 Theory training is FREE
Part 2 and 3 training can be delivered in either one of our cars or in your own vehicle.
All training is provided on a one to one basis and you will never be expected to share your training with another PDI unless you request a learning buddy. There are no classroom lessons and your driving instructor training course is designed around YOU.
Included within your training package is unlimited instructor shadowing along with live learners to practice with throughout your training.
Once you have successfully passed your Part 2, and completed a minimum number of hours training for your part 3, we will sponsor suitable PDI’s to be able to start earning as you are learning.
XLR8 Wales offer training on a Pay as you Go basis with no upfront training costs. You only pay for the hours you need.
