Intensive & Semi-Intensive Driving Courses

XLR8 Wales Driving School offer 2 types of Intensive Driving Courses to allow you to get to test standard as quickly and as safely as possible.

Prior to commencing an intensive driving course, you will need to have an assessment drive with your instructor to establish the best route and expected timeframes. This is a 2 hour assessment and will establish your best style of learning and will help your instructor understand the level at which to start you at. It also allows your instructor to plan your course effectively and tailor it to your personal needs.

INTENSIVE DRIVING COURSE

Our standard Intensive driving course is available over a 1-2 week period. The course runs for 4 hours per day, 5 days a week which is generally a Monday-Friday. Your test will be booked for the end of the course, therefore it is mandatory that your theory test is completed prior to commencing the course in order to ensure that there are no unnecessary delays due to practical test waiting lists with the DVSA.

SEMI INTENSIVE DRIVING COURSE

XLR8 Wales Driving School has specifically designed their semi intensive driving course to give the learner the highest possible chance to pass 1st time. The course is run over a 2-4 week period and is for 2 hours per day, 5 days a week generally from Monday-Friday. Ideally, you will have passed your theory test in advance, however it is possible to start a semi intensive course provided that the theory test is passed within the first week of training. This is to ensure that there are no unnecessary delays due to practical test waiting lists with the DSA.
